We then built a fire (supervised, of course), which our resident pyro (Matt) thoroughly enjoyed. Next we had art. This didn't go so well, with our reconstructions of a painting not looking so flash. (Every person on camp painted one hundredth of a painting, so that the pieces could be put together and create a huge paining. However, our team canvas with our team name in it was amazing. We used stencils to create a brick effect with smoke covering it, then our resident tagger (again, Matt) wrote WTF! in vivid. It doesn't sound that cool when explained, but if I had a photo (which, unfortunately, I don't) you would understand why we were so proud of it. The teachers agreed that it was the best, and we left rotation 4 pleases with ourselves. Next, kayaking, which I had been looking forward to since the tramp, which was when I heard about it. We made our way to the lake (where the previous day we had "built" our pontoon) and stumbled into our sea kayaks. The water was freezing, but we soon discovered that that wasn't our biggest problem. BLOODY HARVEY MASON kept capsizing people! Jane (Spade) went in about 15 times! I went in three times, but I'll tell more soon. We had to paddle across the lake with no paddles, then either kneel or stand to get there and back. Sitting= 0 points, kneeling= 1 point and standing= 2 points. (Team points for the team competition) I managed to stand for a bit, but decided that falling out wasn't particularly desirable.
