I haven't been doing much recently... There's really nothing for me to blog about...
Let's see...
I'm reading Game of Thrones (I'm only on the second book), and I've started watching the show (I'm only 3 episodes in but I know what happens because of the books).
I finally got around to watching the last three episodes of True Blood season 6...
I'm re-watching Charmed...
I don't remember if I've mentioned this before, but my iPhone 4 broke so I have an iPhone 5 now...
I don't know, I really haven't been up to much. My routine is pretty much work, read, watch, sleep and repeat.
Anyway, that's my pointless blog post of the day...

A little tip
A little tip for those who complain that they don't get on we'll with certain people. Don't attack them when they're peacefully sitting down. That won't get your relationship anywhere. Treat them with due respect and they might show you some in return. There's no use attacking someone who really hasn't done anything wrong just because you had a double dose of cranky pills.

Man of Steel
I had the great pleasure of seeing Man of Steel today. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and Henry Cavill was definitely a great choice to play Kal. :)

Jenna Marbles' Thoughts on Being You
I've just watched Jenna's latest video, and it was brilliant. As a result I've embedded it on my blog for you to check out. Check out her other videos; they're brilliant and funny and sometimes serious. She makes me think about things differently.

Cats
Have you ever looked at your cat curled up on your bed and wanted to be a cat yourself? I have. Still do. They're the most zen creatures ever. They just relax, purr, get taken care of, and give out cuddles to deserving human friends. I want to be a cat.
Dry hands
I have a compulsion to wash my hands all the time. It's not a major issue, but it uses a lot of soap and dries out my skin a lot. So, I want to share my favourite hand moisturiser with you! I love the Sukin Hand & Nail Cream, which makes my hands extra soft and smells fantastic. More importantly, it's 100% Vegan, Carbon Neutral, and Australian Owned and Made, so I'm supporting an Aussie business. Seriously though, this is just my thoughts on one of my favourite things. I have 10 different Sukin products because they're amazing.
Check out their other products at: www.sukinorganics.com
Tomorrow
I have a job interview/assessment tomorrow. I'm super nervous, and really hoping that I'm chosen! I'd love to have a job to go to each day, and this one sounds like a great opportunity! Wish me luck!!! :)

Vegan Soft Tacos
So I was in charge of dinner tonight, and I made soft tacos. I thought I'd share the recipe here :)
Ingredients:
Canned lentils (quicker than cooking from scratch)
Canned tomatoes
Capsicum of any colour (I used red and yellow tonight)
Tomatoes (fresh)
Onion (I used red onion tonight)
Spinach
Your choice of spices/taco mix/curry powder etc
Olive oil/macadamia nut oil/avocado oil etc (I used olive oil tonight)
Avocado/guacamole
Tortilla
Method:
Get the stove heating and place pan on. Chop up the onion and place in pan with some oil (olive in my case) and start chopping the capsicum. Once this is done, tip into pan. Open can of tomatoes and add to pan, using spatula/spoon etc to break up the soft tomatoes into the sauce. Then cut up the fresh tomato and tip into pan. (All veges should be in little chunks, only a cm or so in each direction). Wash spinach under cold water, then hand tear and place into the pan. Open lentil can and tip into sieve. Wash under a tap to ensure that all traces of the brine is gone, as it tastes funny. Tip into pan and stir. Keep the ingredients moving and mixed together so that they all absorb each other's flavour. (Add spices etc now if it takes your fancy, as they stay on the outside of all the ingredients, and the taste remains more pronounced).
Once it looks like a decent taco filling, take it off the heat, and turn the stove off.
Cover a strip down the middle of the tortilla with avocado or guacamole, then add a strip of the taco filling. Roll up the tortilla and eat!
Lunch
I made today's smoothie extra thick so that I could eat it as though it was healthy ice cream :)
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 Granny Smith Apple
A handful of Spinach
4 teaspoons of Linseeds
1 teaspoon of Sesame seeds
And blend!
Food
I've eaten kind of healthily today. I had two crumpets and peanut butter for breakfast, then a smoothie with banana, apple, spinach, linseeds and sesame seeds in it, and a mug of green tea. But I feel like I need more veges.
Weird mood
I feel kind of weird. Like, semi-happy because I'm back home, yet depressed because I'm not in Oz. Then happy because my days are free, yet depressed because I want something to do. Is this normal?
Job search
Looking for jobs sucks. Especially when there are so many people and so few jobs. And what's with people never freaking replying?! There's such a thing as common courtesy. I mean, I know that lots of people apply for each job, but if the applications were sorted into piles such as: Interview, Rejected, Maybe, they could send one massive rejection letter to everyone who didn't get it, and we'd be able to move on with our lives. Also, I can't pretend that it doesn't irritate me when I go to a company's website and the "Apply Now" link doesn't work. That would make everything just a little easier. Oh well, I guess if it's worth it it's worth putting in a little extra effort.

Action movies
I love action movies. They appeal to the naturally aggressive art of me. The part of me that wants revenge when someone wrongs someone else. The part of me that cheers for the heroes is desperate to see victory, but I only get real movie satisfaction from good old fashioned action movies with real action. Even when they're not the best actors, if you get the sense that the lead guy (or girl) can legitimately f**k someone up, the movie will work for me. I have to admit, I don't usually go for the movies where the girl is the lead, because any fight between girls are usually pathetic, choreographed so that the girl's face stays perfect, and she continues to ooze sex appeal to sell the movie. I prefer the old style movies where the guys don't care if their faces get messed up and don't look as pretty.
Scott Adkins
Scott Adkins is amazing. Such a talented martial artist and actor. Looking forward to seeing him in the new Hercules movie. And still waiting on Undisputed IV!
Rocky III
We watched Rocky III last night. I love the Rocky movies. Number IV is my favourite. I also love the Rambo movies... And anything with Sylvester Stallone in it. The dude's freaking awesome.
Stuff I don't understand Part 1.
Non-vegans. I don't understand non-vegans. Do people not comprehend the suffering they cause? Do they not understand that the meat they eat comes from animals that are raised to be eaten? Raised on a diet of torture and pain, fed antibiotics so that they don't die from the disgusting conditions that they're kept in. If all the grain that is fed to cattle was given to people, we could end worldwide poverty. Yes, END IT. If we stopped to think about the amount of methane produced by the ridiculously large population of livestock raised for slaughter, we'd figure out that it contributes to 50% of Climate Change. And don't think that vegetarians who still drink milk are getting off the hook. Female cows are forcibly impregnated each year to keep them producing milk. When the calf is born, it is taken away from its mother, who then bellows and cries for its baby. If the calf is a girl it is artificially fed from rubber teats instead of by its own mother. If it's a boy it is placed in a confinement so small that it can't move, because that way its muscles don't strengthen, and it is later slaughtered to create veal. Yes milk-drinkers, you contribute to this. The mother is milked several times a day, and re-inseminated again the next year, which marks the start of the cycle all over again. This torture won't end unless the demand for the products ends.
Back to Wellington
So... Turns out that Uni didn't sit right with me, and the Melbourne job market is ridiculous. So I've moved back to New Zealand for now. I'll find a job, maybe give Uni another go next year if I can think of something I'd like to do, then have a go at moving back to Aus in a few years time with more experience etc! Not the ideal turnout, but that's ok. At least I get to see my family and friends again now!

Winter in Melbourne
Winter in Melbourne is freezing. It's been rainy, and even with a heater on for hours my room never heats up. The neighbourhood I'm in is adorable. It's quaint, with heritage houses that date back about a hundred years. Trees line the streets, and the air is fresh. But cold. Very, very, cold. I've been sleeping in two pairs of trackpants and a sweatshirt over the top of my t-shirt. But Wellington's (NZ) had it worse. There was a storm there a couple of nights ago with lots of rain and wind (see www.stuff.co.nz for videos, pictures, news etc). This picture was up on Facebook, with the caption: "Help! Wellington's being attacked by a massive goat!" Anyway, the moral of that story was that I'm cold.

I haven't signed on for a while. I've been busy being boring :) I moved to Australia in February, started university, realised it wasn't right for me, and have been trying to sort my shit out since.
I'm currently searching for a job, working on my mental problems, and being a general pain-in-the-ass.
I don't really have much to say, so I'll sign off now :)

Sup...
I haven't blogged for aaaaaaaaages! I haven't been up to much, just working. Am getting sorted to head over to Aussie next year for Uni :) So, what's going on with me at the moment? Well, I've just switched roles within the bank (I work at ANZ), and I've become addicted to coconut water... As you do... I finally replaced my speakers, as the last lot broke. I finally read Lord of the Rings a coupled months ago, after feeling guilty for ages about not having read it. I'm now obsessed with the books as well as the movie (which I was already obsessed with). I'm re-readingHarry Potter, for the 43rd time... I converted to Wicca...
So yeah, that's pretty much all that's happened recently...
See ya! :)

HONESTLY? I wear a dress that yes, shows more cleavage than I'm particularly comfortable with, and I spend the whole afternoon pulling the neck up and my cardigan together. Then I get home, and expect that I can relax a bit, and Adrienne (formerly known as my mother) and Tony HAVE to comment on it. Cut me some slack for f**k's sake. And this is coming from a a woman who's perfectly happy to wear a see-through top out. FUCK OFF!!!

Just explained Twitter to Kate. It's actually hard to explain satisfactorily. But anyway, I will just have a quick random synopsis of my life recently before logging off.
So Casey (http://www.caseystoner.com.au/) was wiped out by Rossi on Sunday, which I am not pleased about.
We're having people over for dinner on Saturday.
I'm completely snowed under by three internals (History, Biology and Classics)
I'm sick of waiting for the next Vampire Diaries episode to come out (six weeks between episodes!!!!!!!!)
I missed an episode of The Big Bang Theory (but will catch up on the weekend)
My home internet is on dial-up speed
I'm hungry
And I'm really excited about my job, even though it might mean that I miss my cousin's 21st. :( Hopefully he'll understand if I do though, because I've been looking for a job for so long.
Anyway, I'm done now, so will head off, hope like hell that the wireless will work soon, and maybe come back and update this blog soon.
Cya! :)

Hehe. Hi lovely people reading this! Lol, so I'm sitting in the computer room right now, and I'm distinctly bored! I'm super pissed off that the wireless in the boarding house isn't working, because it forces me to come to the computer room (and thus the monitored computers) to put my diabolical plan into action. JK. But seriously, I am pissed off that I can't go on Twitter and check my emails from my room. No, I have no diabolical plan.
Anyways, I got a job recently. It's quite ironic. Haha, it's the most ironic thing of the past year, but I work at a SPORTS shop. I sell sports gear. Haha. So I did 7 hours on Saturday, and 7 hours on Sunday, and my feet are KILLING me. Or rather, they were until Monday morning, at which point after a good night's rest they were kinda tender but I could at least walk, which was more than I could say after Saturday, at which point after arriving home I flopped and demanded a foot spa, which my kind mother was nice enough to bring to me.
But that's irrelevant. I work in the kids shop ( the store I work at is Lifestyle Sports, and I'm at one of the outlet stores near where I live), and so far I've sold about 50 pairs of football boots, plus a couple of pairs of baby shoes and some trainers. They start you off in the kiddy store, because the adult store is really technical. I now consider myself to be a self-professed kiddy-football-boots expert. Nah, not really, but I do know enough to advise parents and kids on what to buy, which is kinda cool.
Anyway, I don't really want to stay here in the computer room much longer, so I'm gonna go...

Ok, so I just read a comment further down. Something about writing what goes on in my head, as long as it's the truth. So here goes: Why do Alison and Jonty act like a couple? They text constantly, go to parties together, and at said parties go off alone behind trucks. WTF? She has a boyfriend. A boyfriend who used to be nice but now is a complete jerk as a result of how much she manipulates him. She cries at school, and he comforts her. But he doesn't know that she doesn't cry when he's not around because NO ONE CARES. Stop crying (no pun intended) for attention the stupid way, Alison. If you need help, go see a shrink.

Am enjoying the freedom of the summer holidays. Last night I went out sober d'ing with my friend. We didn't get to bed until 3:30am. I didn't get to sleep until at least 5am. Then I had to get up at 9:50am because she had to go to horse riding and was dropping me off. Am soooooooooooo tired, I actually felt dizzy when I got up because of it. I actually fell asleep in the car last night on the way into town at 2:30am.

Crap...
I'm feeling so bad right now. I was trying to get out of the driveway (we have a circular driveway) without hitting my cousin's fiancé's car, and I had about an inch between me and the car, when I hit the side of the house. There's white paint all down the side of of the door, and the bumper's moved by about an inch. I owned up and told Mum as soon as we got back from the supermarket. Unfortunately it was her birthday yesterday, and her friends are all here because it's her 50th. Her party's tomorrow. Great... Anyway, I suppose I'll find out how much I owe her for it soon... I'm going to go to bed now...

Just went to the Italian food show in the stadium in Wellington. It was pretty lame. The last food show was way better. I'm converting season 2 of The Big Bang Theory to put on my iPod. I put season 1 on this morning, and I already have season 1 of The Vampire Diaries. Which reminds me, I have to finish reading the series... I just kind of, well, stopped reading it. Anyway... Imma go now, so cya! :)

Apparently there's an outbreak of swine flu going around wairarapa schools... yay... *heavy sarcasm applied* according to the source, I've done the right thing in going home and "containing the outbreak." Here's the link below:

Haha, today I was talking to Olivia on the train, and somehow Matt came up. Then she told me about a conversation about him that she had with Meka. Meka just casually says: "Olivia, if he's so perfect, why would he be going out with you?" Olivia said she cracked up. It's pretty funny, I have to say.

Watching the rugby (South Africa VS New Zealand) right now. Am at Alan and Pam's place now. Just had a lovely dinner: a bit of salad with an omelette that had a mixed herb filling, with kumara and a couple of kumara rostis. Went to the movies and watched Knight and Day today, which was good. Then came back and started subscribing to channels on Youtube, and continued re-writing my book out as I edit it. Quite frankly, I'm getting nowhere; it's still amateur and rough around the edges. I still need to work on plot and the finer aspects of wording. Oh well, I'm hardly world-class author material, so it doesn't matter anyway. Alan made a great apricot dessert thingy, but I think I ate too much at dinner so I couldn't finish all of it. Why has Dan Carter missed 4/5 kicks?! WTF?! Anyway, will go now and watch the game. Cya! :)

Went out for dinner last night (I'm in D'Auckland for the holidays, and stayed with my Aunt last night.) to the Howick Club. It was good, I has vego penne pasta with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and a garlic sauce. It was a $25 deal for dinner and dessert, so we all got dessert aswell. It was funny, we were all very "adventurous." Shaun. Meenal and Joc all had lamb shanks, while James and Wendy had pork ribeye. Then James and Shaun had deep-fried bananas, Wendy had a cappuccino cheesecake, Joc had pavlova and Meenal and I had mudcake for dessert. All coming with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream seated on a slice of orange of course. Then we returned home and watched cougar town before toddling off to bed. This morning I got up, watched the end of Get Smart, had a shower and ate peanut butter toast with a glass of water before coming to check out the eReader. Cruisy life, eh?

Haha, just read some of my old posts. I eventually decided on Global Warming as my speech topic, but my teacher still hasn't told me if I passed. Am watching a v-peat (repeat of the TV program V). Have spent the day unwisely according to some, but it's been damn fun. Have watched TV and done washing, gone on youtube and updated my music collection. Thinking about music, if we're supposed to buy music off iTunes (which, sadly, I do), then shouldn't all music be on iTunes? I mean, for those more inclined to illegally download wouldn't it make more sense to download music if you can get it for free and actually get it? Because I can't get some music that I'm looking for on the NZ iTunes, and it is irritating me.
On another note, I'm looking forward to going to the MotoGP in Phillip Island, Australia, in October. Hope Casey wins! Have just rediscovered Katharine McPhee, the runner-up of the fifth season of American Idol. She is awesome! Over it, Love Story and Home are amazing songs, you should listen to them.
In Classics we have moved on to Roman social life, which I'm really excited about. When I was about ten I had this mega obsession with the ancient world and endeavoured to find out everything I could. This mostly involved Rome, Greece and Egypt, but I know a bit about other civilizations like China and the South American ones. But I'm really excited about the new topic, and I really enjoyed the last ones of Gods and Goddesses and The Odyssey, plus I'm looking forward to the last topic of Art and Architecture; Pompeii and Herculaneum. That reminds me of what I'm hoping to do next year for school; history, art history, english, classics and biology.
Anyway, I really have nothing to say and am just typing for the sake of it, so Imma go now. Cya! xoxo :)

K, sorry this is depressing for me and I know that no one wants to know but I need somewhere to vent, and since that's why I created this blog, I'm going to use it for just that purpose.
Ok, so my mum has this Omega watch that my dad gave her like, twenty years ago. He died nine years ago, and I'm still clinging to everything that is left of him. (Yeah, I know, probably stupid and childish). Anyway, the face-plate (just a tiny ring of enamel around the edge of the glass, nothing important to the function of the watch) fell off, and now her boyfriend's buying her a replacement, which is really sweet. The catch? They're six thousand dollars, and insurance is paying some for the breakage of the last watch. Sound all g? Not quite. In order for them to pay up, they want the old watch back, which is where I start to break down. I can't handle losing it. I have been holding out for that watch for years. Every time she got a new watch, I'd ask for the old one. I always saw that watch as mine. I'm an only child, and I will inherit everything one day. That watch was one of the things I was looking forward to having and treasuring the most, right next to my parents' engagement and wedding rings. I know that I need to let go, but the last memory I have of my dad (the only real memory that I have, since my parents split when I was two, and I can't really remember the time that I watched Beethoven [the dog movie] with him as I was four) was of him being bloated from the chemo with a massive scar on his head from his shunt operation. I need everything that I can hold on to because I'm not over this. I still think about my dad every day. I know that you don't care, but this is important to me, and I need this outlet. And I hope that if anyone else has a similar situation to me that they can leave a comment for me to make this easier for me.

Phone/Bluetooth/Mum's Legend BF
Lol, mum's legend bf gave me a phone because I was complaining that mum's second phone was flasher than my first phone (mum's first phone is a blackberry, see my point? It's not fair!) So he said: "I have a phone that you can have!" And promptly jumped up and got it. It's an Okta (virtually unknown brand) and is a pretty goddamn decent phone. At first I thought the bluetooth was crap, but I've worked it out now; you have to set it up for every transfer, otherwise the "services can't be discovered." Pretty handy if you don't want sickos like Caitlin sending you queer pictures... :)

OMD (oh my Dimitri). Trying to do research for my speech, but failing epically. I'm torn between a few topics (ok, more than a few): animal cruelty, the evolution of the Ducati Desmosedici GP10, global warming and its effect on the future of the earth and its inhabitants, the Russian Revolution, the Spanish Civil War, the rise and fall of Nazism and its after-effects, political correctness, the life and times of (Stalin, Lenin, Trotsky or Hitler), 1066 and all that, subliminal messages and persuasion, gender differences in communication, and political parties. So yeah, having serious difficulty choosing between them all. Am currently sitting in the hallway using the "speech properties" on my laptop to make it talk. It's kinda funny. Will leave now, after I clarify the "OMD." Dimitri is one of the main characters in the Vampire Academy series.

OMG, that dog shooting incident makes me sick. How could people (and only two of them too) massacre 33 dogs? It's disgusting and I personally believe that cruelty to animals is much worse than cruelty to people. I mean, animals can't tell you that you're a f*****g bastard. They can't tell you that they're innocent, or that they're dying a slow and painful death. They can't tell you how much the murder of their friends at their hands hurts them, or the death of their children, parents, or siblings. I believe that animal cruelty is one of the worst crimes that you can commit, right up their with destroying the planet and stealing my technological devices. With human murder, at least they can fight back, plead. But with animals yelps and shrieks of pain can be interpreted in many different ways, like enjoyment if you're insane (like these two f*****g c**ts must be). A message to you two: I hate you with every particle of my being. You're disgusting pigs and I hope that you get locked up for life or longer, and shame on you and your family. I hope you spend the rest of your lives in misery, haunted by their yelps and cries for help.

Lol, just had netball practice. On that note, I feel that I must mention the score of our game on Saturday: 47-8. We won. Yesterday I went to the gym. It was pretty funny. There was this little kid running at speed 6 on the treadmill; I was walking at speed 8. 7.6 was comfortable... Speed six was a rest... Oh well, at least I got off my butt and did something for once. Netball practice today was cool. Eillish's mum is our coach, and she's really cool, but today she was in Palmy, so Shannon took us. It was cool, quite focused on drills at the start, then moving on to half court and eventually playing the junior A's. It's kinda sad that we played year 7's, but we won anyway... Yeah, that's all I have to say right now... Imma go now...

Lol, Clarkey quote today (for those not in the know, Clarkey is like, sixty five or something): "And when I say peace, I mean real peace, not 'peace bro hippy-like stuff'" Lol. Priceless. Also, Lucy's phone went off in chapel with that weird nokia ringtone. I don't think I've ever seen someone move that fast to shut a phone up. Lol
This was me when I got my braces off. The mouth-stretcher thingy hurts like hell, but it's damn funny to look at. On the day that I got my braces on there was construction going on outside the window; they were putting up a new sign for the building. Anyway, the guys doing the work took one look at me with the ridiculous device in my mouth and just about fell off the roof laughing. It was pretty humiliating... However, it was epic and I made my mum take this pic on the day I got the braces off - 14 and a half months after I got them on.

Rose, Alison and Jonty have this three-day business thing this week, which leaves me and Anna with Nicole and Mr Lane in Japanese. Damn... I guess I'll need to do work instead of hiding while his attention is elsewhere occupied... Bummer. Lol, just asked for gossip from *******, and she told me that ****** didn't sign out from the B-house when she went to the hockey. She also didn't get permission to go to the aforementioned hockey. She's dead; Mrs Jones will skin her, eat her entrails and put her head on a stake as a warning to others. History internal is completed, classics homework is yet to be done... This is a picture of my "business card," which I am handing out to draw attention to this blog.

This was at lunchtime awhile ago, and it was funny because I was just casually singing along to a song that we were playing on Paddy's phone. Maddi decided to film it, and she was talking and I couldn't really hear her at first. Then I realized that she was filming, not taking a photo, and I thought: "s**t." Then the rest is in the video. It's pretty short...
Lol, Mum just bought I Am...Sasha Fierce. Shout out to Jesse's smiley, the Homer: (8(l)
do you see it? School's cool right now, have an internal due tomorrow, which I suppose is on its way. My cousin is engaged! It happened awhile ago, but the engagement party is soon, so I thought I'd share. Shout out to Heather and Caleb: Congrats!!! :) Unfortunately I can't make it up to Jafaland for it, but my thoughts will be there! <3 MotoGP in Motegi postponed until October 3rd because of unpronounceable Icelandic volcano. Oh well, just one more week until Jerez anyway. I painted Grandad's fence over school holidays and am subsequently rich. Lol. Shout out to Maddi and others who have had birthdays recently: Happy Birthday!!!

Lol, watching the final episode of the first season of Glee for the second time today right now, I watched it twice yesterday too. Also have watched The Big Bang Theory and Two and A Half Men today. Have been doing my History internal, but need a break. Getting excited as the first race of the season draws near! Free practice starts on Friday! The race itself is on Sunday, and I'm staying at Nanna and Grandad's to use their my sky. Fully getting pumped, have been excitedly watching the 2009 season review and the race at Phillip Island. :) Lol, while talking to Rose on skype I made up my new smiley, the monobrow smiley= >), also have the monobrow clown= >O). Lol

Haha, I took this pic of Maddi when we had a break between the double periods of English. I said "smile!" Unfortunately that meant Maddi looking into the sun. This is her attempting to see me through the sun's bright rays. :) (Sorry Maddi, it was just too good to pass up) lol.
Shoutout: Rose, for you: LSMMTFOIMC (Translation for those who do not understand: Laughing so much my turban fell off into my curry.)

On Thursday we had double English - yay... *sarcasm dripping off every syllable* It wasn't as bad as it seems, and I found out that I got a merit on my internal!!! Yay! Of course I would have preferred an excellence, but we take what we get. Unfortunately there's no resit opportunity, as I would have been tempted to try again for an E. Oh well. Mum came back from Australia and brought me some Lindt bunny ears, a new handbag, a new wallet, the MotoGP 2009 SEASON REVIEW and some Lindt chocolates. The MotoGP dvd is sooo exciting!!! I am so excited that the 2010 season is about to start!!! April is a big month for me, with the first and second MotoGP races, my braces coming off, the 9th anniversary of my Dad's death, and three birthdays all in April!!!
