Yesterday I went to the Carter Observatory with Grandad. We saw the planetarium presentation, which although awesome was also super headache-inducing because of the movement if the pictures on the dome. Then we browsed the displays, watching videos, reading boards and playing with the black hole thing. (It consisted of an oval shaped bowl that you dropped bouncy balls into, which then spun around and fell into one of the two holes in the centre. So that was cool. Then my Aunt and Uncle came over for dinner, because they're down from Auckland and we wanted to see them. (We also saw them the night before, as we went up to Nanna and Grandad's for dinner.) Mum's friend Leonie also came over, and we fired off jokes and talked about Alan and Pam's (my aunt and uncle) trip to Europe awhile ago and Mum and Leonie's upcoming trip to France and Italy. It was a fun night, and by the end of it I was tired yet still hyped up.
